While NYC bred me to be very independent. Being an South-Asian (Indian), the culture was very collective. The single parent I had, who saw her son make his own choices. However, the biggest bubble was burst for my mom. Mind you I am from New York City, born and raised so leaving the city to me is like bursting a bubble.
But like all stories here we faced hardship also. We celebrated our honeymoon/Wifeybday in Philly! It was totally cool. We lived together for exactly a year on June 6th, we got married married June 7th, 2022 and it was my wife’s 47th birthday on June 8th. I had met my wife on R/chat! We met in another state at first, and then I had started visiting her hometown. I had joined various Reddit pages to make friends and speak to anyone who wanted to chat! It was all just to keep my mind occupied while I recovered for nearly 3 months. Hello Reddit and r/AgeGap! I met my wife on Reddit, two years ago while I was undergoing a hip surgery.
