They are hiring staff now, talking applications on Thursday, April 16 from 3pm to 7pm. According to Precinct’s Facebook page, the bar has suffered “17 months of delays, traffic studies, structural analysis, lost paper work, petitions, licenses, applications, inspections, demolition, purchases, construction, insanity, and actual human tears.”Ī recent photo (right) posted on the site makes it look like there is still a lot of work to be completed, but it says Precinct is set to officially open May 2nd. It will be upstairs on the second floor of the building on the northwest corner of Broadway and 4th Street above the Pestolini restaurant. The first is Precinct, a self described Rock and Roll gay bar.
But finally, DTLA is getting two more gay bars.
